Knowledge and Skills

What enabling knowledge (facts, concepts, principles) will students need to perform effectively and achieve success?

For example,

In order to produce an audio podcast,

a student know (background knowledge):
- the elements of story or narrative
- the investigative reporting protocol
- the fundamentals of voice, tone & audience

a student must apply (process skills):
- the basics of audio recording/editing
- the basics of mixing in music & sound
- arrangement, mastering & rss publishing
